Knowledge brokering is based on effective use of tacit know-how to transform
incomplete and unrelated
information fragments
into well-articulated ideas and prototypes.
Reliable and productive knowledge brokering activities depends on tactical application of design capabilities, such as ideation, speculation, sketching, scaling, and critical perspectives in fluid, dynamic, dispersed, and de-centralized knowledge exchanges.
Evidently, knowledge brokering relies on strategically planning the design operations, transactions, and transitions to structure multi-disciplinary flows of knowledge exchange.
Consequently, mastery of design abilities for modeling innovative concepts are fundamental for effective planning and management of design-led open innovation platforms and projects.
